Oaks - staff team (ID 1061)

Our topic this term

This term our topic is 'On the Ocean Wave.' During this topic, we will be using maps and atlases to locate the 5 oceans, continents, the poles and the Equator. We will also be taking a look at what lives in the sea, designing and writing about our very own sea creature! In art, we are going to be making dioramas, using our sea creatures and the habitats we will create for them.

PE and outdoor Learning

PE is on  Monday (outside with Mr Petros) and on a Thursday (in the hall with Mrs Fuller).

Outdoor learning is on a Monday, children will require a full change of weather appropriate clothes, waterproof trousers and coat and wellies.

Home learning

Reading at home with your child is crucial as it builds essential literacy skills, boosts vocabulary and fosters a life-long love of reading. Please read with your child as much as possible and record it in your child's reading record.

Spellings will be set and tested on a Thursday. Please support your child with learning these at home.
